Wrexham is an area steeped in history with a strong vision
for the future. It is situated in North East Wales only a few miles from the
English border.
Traditionally an industrial and market town, the face of Wrexham is
constantly changing, consolidating its reputation as the commercial capital of North Wales.
Wrexham is the largest and most diverse retail centre in North Wales. It successfully combines older, traditional shops, markets and arcades with newer shopping developments and individual stores.
The centre is full of character and
charm, and has shopping areas which include two new indoor shopping centres, with all the major
high-street names. There is also a network of small streets
with specialist shops to browse at your leisure. You can still find
traditional pubs with real ale and real atmosphere, as well as lively clubs and restaurants. Outside the town centre,
a retail park has been developed which is home to major supermarket and pharmaceutical chains as well as a
six-screen cinema.
