Probably best known for her reoccurring role in the TV show "Ally McBeal" which she also composed the theme song for. But she has also had a number of solo hits outside of the show as well.

I was fortunate enough to meet Ms. Shepard when she was performing at the House Of Blues in Orlando during my Holiday to Florida in September 2002.  We didn't even know she was playing there as the Gig was not advertised, it was only by chance that we overheard some people talking outside saying that she was playing in a few minutes. I have to admit at the time I was not that big a fan, but my Girlfriend wanted to see her so we did.  Ms. Shepard put on an great live performance and after the gig she graciously signed autographs and posed for pictures. She gained one more fan that night.
