EPCOT Center stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow and was Walt Disney's idea of what the future would look like. The park is divided into two sections the first that you enter when you come into the park is Future World which contains he rides and attractions such as The Land, Honey I Shrunk The Audience, Test Track, The Living Seas and Spaceship Earth. New for this year was Mission Space were you take part in a mission to mars that actually simulates weightlessness. The second part of the park is called World Showcase, contains a number of stereotypical views of different countries such as China, Japan, Germany, Italy, France and the UK. Each area has a unique theme or ride, Norway for example has the Maelstrom a water ride that takes you back to the land of the mythical trolls and the UK has a pub (how original) one thing that I was not happy about was they had taken away the Wales shop in the UK so now Wales is not represented at all. A highlight to me was when I took part is the Segway tour around World Showcase, this involved riding the Segway human transporter around the park before it opens.
