| I went to Barcelona in late November 2002, in a bit of a spur of the moment idea and have to admit if is a fabulous place. Unfortunately I didn't see much of it as I was only there for two days but I did try to pack in as many museums and attractions as possible. I had a good hotel on the Ramblas which is in the heart of the city from which to explore. A highlight had to be the zoo, with its abundance of Monkeys, and especially a baby Orangutan which tried to communicate to me through the glass and showing me a stone she had in her hand which she then attempted to unscrew the screws holding the window frame in place, very cleaver.
